Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir ,Banali is a project ,that will help is the
education of
children from more than 13 neigbouring villages.
The name of this village is derived from the goddess Banashankari whose
temple is at
the very beginning of the road to the Banglore Ashram,the goddess later on
move to
Banglore from here,The most remarkable thing about this village is that it
is a
completely vegetarian village,the muslims here as well do not eat meat!
Banali is a small village,about 14 hrs drive from my place.I am often
travelling here along
with other Hiranandani teachers/volunteers to do my best for these
children..The school
now needs to go into its second phase of construction which will include
mainly 6
classrooms,1 community hall.This will need funds,,
