Subject: Networking at the tip of your tongue!
On October 10, 2010, members of the Art of Living NJ group participated in
the Mental Health Association of New Jersey's 3nd Annual "Walk for
Wellness". At this event one of our teachers, Ketan Bhagat mentioned to
another participant about our YES! programs being taught in public schools
in NJ! That participant happened to be a branch manager of the Investors
Savings Bank. She was very excited that a such wonderful program was being
provided for the youth and had mentioned that the bank runs a foundation
which provides grants for community service. Subsequently, an application
for the grant was made. Last week, we got confirmation that we are
recipients of a $2500 grant for teaching YES! in NJ schools.
You never know how the next person can help us, help our communit\y!!!

Subject: First Ever Art of Silence Course in Bloomington, IN with Jim
Larsen March 31st to April 3rd
It gives us great joy to announce an Art of Silence Course in Indiana with
Jim Larsen, one of the senior teachers in the Art of Living Foundation. This
is our first ever Silence Course planned for Bloomington, Indiana. The
course will be held at serene Tibetan Cultural Center where it is spread
over 108 acres of woods and buddhist monks meditate regularly. HH Dalai
Lamaji also visits this center once every 2 years.
The course will begin at 6 pm on March 31st (Thursday), ending by 4 pm on
April 3rd (Sunday).
THERE ARE LIMITED SPOTS (35) and ONLY 15 are left. REGISTRATION IS ON A
FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS.
Housing will be arranged for out of towners on a first come first served
basis at local devotees' homes (limited) and the on site accommodations
