Subject: YES for Schools Summer Training needs YOUR help!!!!!
Hello Fellow Art of Livingians!!!
I hope that many of you know about the amazing work that the YES! for Schools
Team has been doing the past few years. If not you are in for a treat, we have
been teaching YES pretty much non-stop in schools all over the country with
amazing results. Kids see the change in themselves and school teachers and
administrators see the change in the students so much so that often we teach a
few classes in a school and before the course is even over they are asking us
if we want to teach the entire freshman class, or even the whole school.
Because of this rapid growing popularity we need more YES teachers to
teach in high schools. A lot more actually- we have to turn schools down
because we do not have enough teachers, which means thousands of students not
getting the grace.
So what we need from you is to help us spread the word about this training
program throughout the country!! So we are offering a two-week training to
start people on the process of becoming YES teachers. We are gearing this
training towards college students and recent grads as well as high school
teachers that want to teach YES! in their schools, but anyone can come to this
training. The training involves a YES+ course, the Art of Meditation, and YES
training. After the training there will be 2-5 week fieldwork opportunities
around the country assisting YES teachers in high school summer programs.
