What is Vaastu Shastra?
The science of energy, which deals with the construction of houses, palaces,
temples and towns is called Vaastu Shastra. It reads the characteristics of
houses/plots and explains the effect of the same to the inmate of the house.
This science is also based on the laws of nature. Its theories offer us a
way of understanding the relationship between humans and their environment
and about how everything is connected and affects our well-being. In other
words, Vaastu Shastra is the science of building and essentially the art of
balancing nature with manmade environment and the correct placement of man
in such a manner so as to get the maximum benefits of the energy emanated by
natural and man-made environment. Constructed by 18 Divine Maharishis like
Bhrugu, Atri and Vasishtha, this science has a tradition of more than 10,000
years.

Vaastu is the bridge between man and nature. Everything is made up of basic
five elements FIRE, WATER, EARTH, SPACE, and AIR. If the residential and

Characteristics,Selection of site, Various components of Vaastu and so on
with 4 practical sessions included. After completion of the course,
participants will have to submit answer papers following which they will be
awarded "Vaastu Visharad" certificate. This will qualify them to make use of
this ancient knowledge in their respective fields for personal growth and
development as a professional, as well as for the betterment of the society
at large.
About Faculty
Pandit Yashwant Narahar Maggirwar, is a renowned International level
vaastu and Jyotish scientist, ex-president of Maharashtra Jyotish Parishad
for last 18 years, 10 years field experience in Vaastu. He is the Vice
President for the Institution of Vastu Science (Indore, MP, India).He is
also a Member of the Academic Council and member of the board of Studies of
Kavikulguru Kalidas Sanskrit Vishvavidyalaya, Ramtek, Nagpur and Founder
Governing council Member of All India Institution of Vaastu Science (IVS).
In 1995, he visited European countries for a period more than 6 months on
account of Vaastu Consultancy on an invitation from Maharshi Mahesh Yogi ,
Netherlands.
