It was on the brink of being cancelled but it is finally happening: we are very
happy to announce the Ethics in Business – CCS World Youth Forum (WYF) 2009,
taking place from 2nd to 6th November.
The World Youth Forum is an extraordinary opportunity for the youth (aged 18 to
30) to improve their personal excellence, expand their leadership skills and
develop an international network.
The Art of Living's leadership program and interactive workshops and sessions
are tailored to give them all the tools needed to flourish and express
themselves as a true leader.
Through the Ethics in Business - CCS conference, the WYF also gives an
excellent platform to the youth to voice their message to the world's top

Celebrate Navaratri
Celebrate Navaratri with us at the International Art of Living
Centre in Canada September 24th to 26th.
The priest, Pundit Chandrashaker, is coming from Toronto,
and is the brother-in-law of Pundit Sundaramurthy, the head priest
at the Bangalore Ashram. Pundit Chandrashaker has done yagyas
and pujas at the Ashram before, including the recent yagya when
Guruji was here this summer.
Gurudev describes Navaratri as "Nava" meaning nine and "Ra"
meaning night and "Tri" meaning the three aspects of one's
life: body, mind and soul. Hence Navaratri means giving rest
to these three aspects of our being for nine days to emerge
recharged and rejuvenated.
Come for Navaratri or sponsor a puja. When you sponsor a puja
your name is recited and the puja is offered on your behalf, just
as if you were there to participate.
There will be three pujas dedicated to the three aspects of
Mother Divine. Durga, mother as the force of transformation,
Lakshmi, mother as the force of abundance and fullness, and
Saraswati, mother as the form of knowledge and understanding.
The suggested donation is $108 for all three puja.
If you would like to sponsor a puja we need:
1. Your complete name (If the puja is being sponsored
by a couple, we need the complete names of both people).
2. To know which puja(s) you re sponsoring, and
3. To know your address, so we can mail prasad from the puja.
Payment can be made by credit card or check. Information and
payments need to reach the ashram by September 23rd.
