Subject: Ashtavakra Gita Advanced course - Amazing Experience!!

Wanted to share with you all, my experience in the Ashtavakra
Gita Advanced course conducted by Swami Suryapada (Chaya Anna) held from 13th
to 19th July in Mangalore.

Right from the first day of the course, there was a
unique sense of unity between the participants. Even though people came from
all over India for this course, we all felt we had something in common.

From the second day, it started raining almost
continuously. Rain water entered the venue and the hall where the course was
being held. In spite of the water leakage, not a single person complained about
any discomfort. Everyone were just smiling and were in a state of complete
bliss.

The rain continued on the third day too.. The organizers Mr and Mrs Shaina,
Apex members from Mangalore did a wonderful
job on the arrangements for the course. They treated everyone as family and
served wonderful hot home-made food even at late hours in the night. It was
simply wonderful to see everyone in the course make adjustments big or small
and adjust to the surroundings. Would also like to commend the help of the very
young Mr. Prashant, an Art excel teacher from Mangalore for giving individual
attention to each of the participants.

About the course itself. The talks given by Swami Suryapada were simply
amazing. Each
moment brought with it so much knowledge from the master that it was treasured
by all. Even though the course timings were from 4 in the morning to 11.30 in
the night, participants were not willing to let Swamiji leave at the end of
each day.

The best part of the course was the daily recitals of the
ragams in the form of song. Apart from the invaluable talks given by Swamiji,
the
song poems were simply beautiful. The musicians and singers Mr. Arvind Habbar
and his daughter Mrs. Rajni were very melodious. They sang the Aravi Shudha
Sanyasi
Ragam and the Revati Shudha Sanyasi Ragam beautifully. This was the first time
I ever experienced knowledge in the form of a song.

On the last day of the course I had tears of joy in my eyes.
Everyone was grateful to the master because of whom they got this knowledge.
The last day came so soon, it was as if the course had only just started.

I have realized how lucky and blessed I am to have gotten
this knowledge. It is very important for people to know that in this day and
age, we need to pursue knowledge and not the other way around.

Best Regards,
Indira Viswanadha

Subject: YLTP in Beautiful Lake Tahoe this August

August 6th-23rd

One of the only programs we have in the Art of Living in North America that
combines tons of Sadhana, Seva, and Satsang, while giving even new people a
chance to teach, is the YLTP program. With all these important pillars of the
path in abundance for a couple of weeks, participants grow very strong in the
knowledge. While doing all these activities together, the YLTP team forms
strong bonds of friendship that last a lifetime.

This year we are having the training at a beautiful location on Lake Tahoe in
California.

Then we will head to San Francisco to teach Breath Water Sound and do seva.

This program is open to all, even those who have not done the Part 1 course.

If you would like to come, or know someone who would be a good fit for the
program, please contact Penelope at penelope.holliday@artofliving.org

More information is at www.yltp.org
