MONTHLY STATE WISE SEVA PROGRAM
MAHARASHTRA STATE FOR FEBRUARY 2012
Jai Gurudev!
Dear One's,
Guruji's devotees from all over the country if given a chance would love to
contribute and devote their time for seva in Ashram. With Guruji's grace
their wish can come true. Sadhana, seva and satsang in the ashram is in
itself a very fulfilling and transforming experience. So we would love to
call upon those interested to come and experience seva in ashram.
"Seva brings merit. Merit allows you to go deeper in meditation. Meditation
brings back you smile. Be grateful for any opportunity to do seva."-Sri Sri
. *Each State gets a chance 2 or 3 times in a year to do seva in the
ashram. Seva period for Maharashtra starts from 1st to 29th February.
Minimum period for seva in ashram is one month.
. *After completion of one month you will be able to attend one
Complimentary Weekly Advance Course (starts on Thursday every week) {Based
on your seva performance report from the department}.
Criteria:
Seva application should come through the State Apex/Local Teacher/Local
Chapter.
. Part 2/ DSN/ YES+Advance/ YLTP- Either one of these courses should
be completed.
. Minimum 6 months in Art of Living and seva done in local chapter.
. Age: 18+ and medically fit. Mention about any seva done in the
ashram previously.
Procedure:
. *Fill up the Pre-requisite form and the seva application form (please
find the attachments of the forms in this mail or you can get the forms from
your Apex Body).
. *You can submit the forms to your respective State Apex /Local
Teacher/Local Chapter. There will be brief interview with the State
Apex/Local Teacher/Local Chapter and based upon the interview the seva
application forms must be sent to Ashram HR, Bangalore 15 days prior to seva
period via post or email athr@vvmvp.org
. *If your Seva application at the Ashram is accepted, HR will
intimidate the State Apex/Local Teacher/Local Chapter via email. Please
bring your seva confirmation letter. If application is not accepted a
suitable answer will be indicated.
*General Seva mainly comprises of Seva in the Kitchen, Housing and Campus
Maintenance. Those with specific skill set (e.g. Civil engineer, electrical
engineer, doctor etc) can render their Seva based on their skills sets or
for General Seva.
*Travel expenses to be borne by individual applicants.
*Your accommodation will be on shared basis. Food and accommodation is
complimentary. During seva you are not allowed to bring children.
