Born in Nasik, MaheshGiriji as a young boy of 16 ran away from home and
accompanied a Himalayan Swami and thus began his Spiritual Journey. At 25
he became the Peethadheesh (The Head) of Guru Dattatrya Peeth at Girnar in
Gujarath. Millions of devotees come to this holy place every year.
In 2002 Swamiji met our dear Guruji Poojya Sri Sri Ravishankar and

In response to popular demand and with Guruji's blessings, we are pleased
to announce new, advanced Sri Sri Yoga residential courses in 2011, which
also happens to be the 10th anniversary of Sri Sri Yoga.
Sri Sri Yoga Part 2 - 7 day residential yoga course
Sri Sri Yoga Part 3 - 10 day residential course
These courses will provide you an opportunity to soak in the wisdom and
practices of yoga, further enrich and advance your spiritual growth and
provide deep rest to your whole being. You will be inspired to live a
healthier way of life and also learn the techniques to minimize your
physical struggles and mental stresses.
Several Sri Sri Yoga Part 2 courses will be offered internationally
beginning January 2011.
The first Sri Sri Yoga Part 3 will be offered in Guruji's presence at the
Bangalore ashram in October 2011, which also happens to coincide with
Krishanji's 60th birthday.
There are some changes to the Sri Sri Yoga TTC format as well. Sri Sri Yoga
is now a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School. There are two levels of
teacher training courses, at the 200 and 500 hours. To apply for SSY TTC,
you must complete SSY Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 courses and AOL Part 1 and
Part 2 courses.
