"The idea that we have about yoga here in the United States that it's about
stretching the body. Yoga is a way of life. It's a path, it's a lifestyle,
of choosing to be aware of "What is happening for myself? What are the
choices I'm making, consciously, unconsciously, for my life?" then choosing

Subject: Uddhava's Visit
The love of Krishna and the gopis will always be sung by everyone till this
universe lasts. Among the gopis, Radha (longing) was the most loving one and
her name is taken before Lord Krishna. Such was her love that every cell of
body was vibrating with her love for the lord. Even after Krishna left
Vrindavana the love did fade away but grew stronger and stronger. So Krishna
after many years, sends his dear friend and disciple Uddhava to find out
what's going on in Vrindavana. Uddhava when visited Vrindavana could not
believe his eyes that people there were so loving and devotional and they
were still remembering every action of Krishna as if it has happened
yesterday. Every living being, trees, cows, rivers were all in such a
blissful state even after so many years of Krishna's leaving the place. Then
the gopis sit around Uddhava and asks him about their dear Krishna and that
is the time when Uddhava shares the most beautiful knowledge chanting the
glory of his master and dearest friend Krishna.
After 5300plus years, samething happened in New Jersey when Swami Suryapada
(Uddhava) landed on a Krishna Janmashtami (Krishna's birthday) to NJ and
drove straight into the Krishna temple where more than 100 people sang and
soaked into the bhakti. The head of the temple while welcoming Swamiji said
that this was a very special day for them as they have both Krishna (deity)
and Rama (who was born in Sun dynasty referring to Swami Suryapada) together
to bless the people.
Our Krishna (Gurudev) being so compassionate and loving sent his own form in
Swami Suryapada who when on the seat, personifies Gurudev not only in his
looks but the deep knowledge that flows out of his divine form. It was like
a repeat of Ashtavakras, Bhaktisutras and Yogasutras put together in a small
capsule being presented to us in the simplest form. His sessions are called
4 in 1 as they include some powerful chants, Singing, Knowledge and
Meditation and when you come out of that session, the transformation is
unimaginable. Last 4 days with him was most powerful Advance Course for NJ
group who were blissed out with his simplicity, deep knowledge and Guru
bhakti. He also took us into the heights of Kailasa with a powerful Rudra
Puja in NJ as well as in NY.
These moments with him were the most blessed moments of my life which I will
cherish as Gurudev himself was spending these unforgettable moments of joy
