Subject: Gandhidham hit by Cyclone of Guru Grace through Sri Sri Yoga by
Kamlesh didi

With immense pleasure we all from Gandhidham (Kutch) Gujarat convey about our
mega Sri Sri Yoga event from 2nd to 6th june 2010 conducted by our beloved
Kamlesh didi.
Our entire team of teachers & volunteers and their families worked tirelessly
during last two months for this event which was organised for the first time
ever in Kutch region at such a scale.
And finally the day came...... 1st june 2010 when Kamlesh didi landed at
Gandhidham for the first time in the evening hours and entire team was full of
joy having the glimpse of didi and it was just like a dream come true.
Everyone was tensed as event was about to start from next day but Didi said"you
all have put your 100% now is the time to celebrate. Let Guruji take over". And
so we did. At night, didi did guru puja at the venue and all started to feel
relaxed.
Course started with over 700 participants next morning. People came in from
everywhere.
We were all rejoicing until we got the scaring news of CYCLONE PHET in the
arabian sea which was heading to hit Kutch region by 4th June.
We all were really worried when Kamlesh didi advised all of us to keep calm and
pray to Guruji. And then the miracle began. It did rain a little just to cool
the climate and settle the dry dust at the venue. While the port authorities in
the town were busy making evacuations and preparing for the cyclone, we were
all singing and dancing in satsangs every evening. Then came the news that
Cyclone PHET got diffused and turned away towards Oman.
The course continued in full glory and it did not rain until the last day when
we sang Jay Jay Radha Raman :)
It started pouring heavily with strong winds - as if the rain gods were just
waiting for us to finish.
We know Guruji was keeping a constant watch.

All the participants unanimously expressed deep satisfaction and gratitide
during the course, all experienced Yoga in its true sense and meaning (union
with oneself), and to top it all, every evening we had knowledge sessions with
Didi, followed by satsangs.
We were all mesmerised by her all day long giggles, inspiring talks, sparkling
eyes and so much love to share.
Not to forget that in the crowd, we had many yoga teachers from different
organisations including the office holders and teachers of Patanjali yog peeth.
All of them shared their blissful experience felt at various levels and
appreciated from the bottom of their heart regarding the way Kamlesh Didi made
Yoga so joyful and light yet the experience remained profound. Everyone voiced
that they have never attended such yoga sessions in the past and were taking
notes to include in their own classes later.
At the end of the course, each and every one felt the grace of the Master, had
tears in the eyes including the tent, sound and light persons who were present
for their business but they also cried when Didi was leaving the venue and felt
gratitude. The owner of tent and sound system took sankalpa that he will
organise one maha satsang in gandhidham in coming months.

Not to forget our entire team of teachers of Gandhidham, Adipur, Anjar, Bhuj
kutch and volunteers whose efforts were incredible and everyone waved good bye
to Kamlesh didi with tears of gratitude in the eyes. Jai Gurudev and all glory
to our Master.

The seat of power: Pride or service? - Sri Sri
DNA, 12th June, 2010

Minister-ship is not a luxury which you can take pride in renouncing. Most
political leaders are ignorant of the concept of true service. Few venture
beyond the boundaries of race, religion and nationality. Being confined thus,
they do harm themselves and others. So politicians, too, need to be educated in
the conduct of state and social responsibility. Once you realise this, you
don't need a seat or position to serve the people. You can do better without a
formal post as did Mahatma Gandhi. Ministers need to cultivate the ability to
safeguard against sycophants. In fact, they should listen to the "inner voice",
following their own divine guidance, to sift the right from the wrong.
