Art of Living Know Your Child Course Director Muralidhar Koteshwar will be
giving 4 Facilitator Training Courses across the US this January.

The Art of Living Know Your Child Workshop gives parents practical tips to help
children ages 0 −12 to:

· Enhance their creativity

· Improve focus and concentration in their studies

· Be independent and responsible

· Feel more free, natural and emotionally healthy

We are training more facilitators in order to spread this wisdom to more
parents in the U.S. You need not be a parent to become a Know Your Child
Facilitator, simply a love of Guruji and a desire to help. It is a great way
to spread Guruji's knowledge to parents who have not yet done AOL courses.

Know Your Child Facilitator Training (2 days, 8 hours per day)

· Learn to teach the 2-hour Know Your Child Workshop

· Learn to teach 1-hour stress-free teaching session to educators

· $175 (free for full-timers)

· Prerequisites: Art of Living Course, Art of Silence Course, DSN
–or teacher's recommendation

· A Know Your Child workshop will be embedded in the Facilitator
Training, so you can take the workshop and training simultaneously.

Subject: Sri Sri University

As you are all aware, Guruji has envisioned establishing a unique University at
Cuttack, Orissa. The Orissa Government has already given possession of a land
of 185 acres near the Narraj Baraj, in the Bidyadharpur village in Cuttack
District, overlooking the Katjyodi river.

The Orissa Legislative Assembly has already passed the Sri Sri University Bill
and we are waiting for its notification in the official gazzate by end of this
year.

We have already started some initial construction activities at our site. The
first classes in Management, Osteopathy, Naturopathy, Ayurveda and Agriculture,
are slated to commence by July 2010. The University when fully implemented, is
expected to cater to about 15000 children in campus and about 5000 faculty and
other support staff.

The plans for the implementation of the University is in full swing. On 18th
and 19th of December, we have taken a major step forward with four renowned
architects presenting their concepts of the proposed university. The
architects who participated in this concept design competition are:

1. Shri Shirish Beri from Shrish Beri & Associates, Kolhapur
2. Shri Jaisimji from Jaisim-Fountainhead, Bangalore
3. Shri Amit Bose from DDF Consultants Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi
4. Shri Shripal Munshi from Shripal & Venkat Associates, Chennai

We had excellent presentations from these architects in alignment with Guruji's
grand vision of Reliving the Nalanda Experience, and making India once again
the centre of learning and excellence. We expect that we will be able to
commence construction of the main campus by May/June, 2010.

We invite everyone to join us in creating the history in whatever way one can.
Every bit is welcome either in kind, cash, participation or in any other manner
that is possible.

Living, inspired by Guruji's grand vision is coming up near Bhubaneshwar in
Orissa. Sri Sri University is conceptualized with a vision to establish an
international multi-disciplinary, single campus university that imparts

As we gear up to start courses in the academic year 2010-11, the process for
selection of Vice-Chancellor (VC) has been initiated. An ideal candidate for
the post should have the following qualifications:

Mandatory Qualifications:

Doctorate in any discipline and good academic record
Minimum 15 years' experience in teaching and research
Minimum of five research publications in international journals
Execution of at least one major research project with proper delivered results

Desired Qualifications:

Five years' administrative experience in a large educational organization
Experience of working with international bodies
Experience of organizing events, such as workshops, seminars at international
level
Demonstrated experience in inspirational leadership
Spiritual Inclination

Preferential Additional qualifications:

Equal measure of Academic Brilliance and Administrative capacity
Existing VC may be preferred. However, senior professors/deans/HODs may also
be considered.
Excellent working skills in Hindi and local language Oriya shall be an added
advantage
Persons from Orissa or having long domicile there
A VC with a University start-up experience

Compensation shall be as per UGC scale. For right candidates with higher
credentials, compensation package shall not be a limiting factor.

It is such an illusion – you dislike someone or something, and this only
makes you hard and your hardness takes a long time to soften, to disappear. It
is such a trap for keeping you away from the treasure. Nothing in this material
world can give you contentment. An outer-looking mind seeking for contentment
gets discontented and the discontentment grows, and complaints and negativity
start hardening the brain, clouding the awareness (the aura), and forming a
huge cloud of negative energy. When the negativity reaches its peak, like an
overloaded balloon, it bursts and comes back to the Divinity. You can never
escape the Divine, the long route of negativity, or the instantaneous positive
approach. When the Divinity dawns, in no time the shift happens from the
untruth to truth, from darkness to light, from the dull inert matter to the
sparkling spirit. When the heart is hard, there is no fun. You cannot
experience fun.

Subject: Fantastic Sri Sri Yoga Courses at Dallas with Shriram

"It very easy to become a Yoga instructor but very very few become true Yogis"

This statement was very much exemplified by Shriram Sarvotham this weekend in
Dallas. We had two fantastic concurrent Sri Sri Yoga (SSY) courses (full to
capacity) with Shriram Sarvotham in Dallas this past weekend. Shriram is an
epitome of discipline and commitment and has demonstrated it by not missing a
single day of Sadhana comprising of Yoga Asanas for the past 18 years. Each one
of the participants were greatly inspired by his depth of knowledge, his single
pointed focus and commitment. His clarity and the description of the postures
were so precise that we didn't even have to open our eyes to follow any of the
postures. Each day he went over some of the Sutras from the Patanjali's Yoga
Sutras in greater depth and they in turn deepened our experience of the
Aasanas. Honestly, I felt like I just completed a Part 2 course after
completing SSY. Of course, some of the anecdotes shared by Shriram related to
his life as a serious Yoga practitioner have been truly inspiring and you have
to hear it from him....

The Sri Sri Yoga course is a perfect combination of Aasanas, Pranayamas,
Meditation and knowledge from Patanjali's Yoga Sutras. The depth in my daily
home practice has gone up several notches by incorporating the SSY sequence of
postures.
