It was a Tuesday Morning on 15th Sep and I was at work . Typical work load and
stress. We all know that the only thing that keeps us going is our GURUs GRACE
and his presence in our lives.
I get a phone call in the morning from my niece that my twin brother Sujiv
who is in Nagpur has been admitted in a hospital and is extremely serious.
Took the earliest flight available and flew to Nagpur the same evening.
I was going through the peak of anxiety when the doctor told me that he had a
Heart fail and is lucky to have survived. He needs to be kept in the Intensive
care for 4 more days until his badly damaged Heart recovers. His Blood Pressure
was abnormally high and sugar level almost in the Danger zone. Doctors were at
their professional best in assuring us how serious his condition was . They
were of the view that further tests like Angiography was not advisable at that
time since the patient was too scared and possibility that the pressure would
shoot up beyond control and it would be fatal.
I was myself going through severe anxiety and depression not knowing what is in
store the next moment. My mind was over flooded with dreadful thoughts and
questions like what happens if something goes wrong? What will happen to his
two lovely daughters and his wife? And so on…
Then I realized that the event I was going through was so powerful that it had
made me forget our simple trick that takes care of it all- Closed my eyes-took
a deep breath in –and got connected to "GURUJI". Magic happened in a
minute. Everything vanished and I was confident that nothing is going to happen
to my brother.
Since Sujiv was kept in the ICU it would be only a few minutes that we were
allowed to see him. I sneaked in and placed GURUJI photo in his left breast
pocket. Me along with my nephew Pradnesh who is AOL part I Teacher prayed for
him in the ICU.
Next morning when we visited the Hospital we were shocked to see him sitting on
his bed. The Magic wand had started its work. His Blood Pressure and Sugar
count were close to normal . He was then shifted out of the ICU . Doctors
credited his speedy recovery to two factors – 1. that Sujiv is just 38 yrs
and 2. of course their medical expertise. But I knew which factor had done it
all.
Sujiv was discharged the next day with heavy medication doses for 15 days.
GURUJI was there with him all the time in the ICU. This was the picture I could
see whenever I closed my eyes to Meditate- that GURUJI was sitting near Sujivs
Pillow end and with his open hair fanning the upper part of his body , just as
though BLESSING him. The Angiography test done after a month showed not a
single blockage.
Sujiv has been blessed with another life. "Jai Guru Dev".
