Subject: Article on sahaj samadhi in Lebanon (june 28-30)
Dear friends,
We finished last week, a wonderful Sahaj Samadhi course with the Senior Art
of Living teacher "Kamal
Khimjy".
In fact we had two groups one in the mountain and the other in Beirut. We
taught a total of 58 Participants. It was absolutely fantastic!
Grace was overwhelming and people had very deep and profound experiences. A
person who came to Lebanon to solve a very serious family conflict found
herself in the course the moment she landed at the airport. During the
course, she had an insight and acted upon it later. The crisis was solved!
When Guruji spoke to us on the phone, tears of joy and gratitude were
rolling on blissful faces.
The best is still to come. Sahaj courses will be now regular in Lebanon.
Like the phoenix bird arising from Ashes, Guruji allows us to rise to a
level of love, joy and authentic dignity.
This was "the Lebanese Sahaj
course experience".

The following is a message from His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on the
significance of Guru-Purnima.
"It is the day when the disciple wakes up in his fullness and in the
wakefulness he can't be but grateful. This gratitude is not of dwaita (you
and me), but of advaita. It is not a river moving from somewhere to
somewhere, but is the ocean moving within itself. So, gratefulness on
Guru-Purnima symbolizes that fullness.. Full moon is completion, the
pinnacle. On Gurupurnima the devotee wakes up in full gratitude. Devotee
becomes like an ocean moving in itself. It's the time to come in fullness.
It's a time to celebrate. For a seeker, Guru Purnima is a day of
significance.
So in Gurupunima you remember all guru's of the past. It is the day when
devotee arises in full gratitude, they turn back and see how they changed
and developed in the last 1 year. They assess what lessons they have learned
and how they are growing in knowledge. It's reviewing yourself in knowledge.
Mind needs to be reminded again and again, so we review it."

The first MEDUCON conference was kick-started in Pune. Dr. Ram
Takawale,renowned Educationist in Maharashtra inaugurated the conference by
lighting the lamp. This was followed by Dr. Ram Takawale's inaugural speech.
Dr. Ram Takawale spoke about the establishment of New Education
architecture, changing role of teachers, activities based learning etc. He
also suggested that, Education should no longer be content centric but it
should be teacher centric.
First day of the conference continued with the speeches by the panel
speakers like - Dr. Anil Achwat, Mr. Nagre, Mr. Ghosh, Mr. Desle, Mr.
Sevekar, Mr.
Muralidhar Koteshwar. The panelists spoke about influence of existing media
and its impact on education and teaching methodologies which they felt can
go a long way in making a difference to children and their development.
