On May 3rd and 4th Sri Sri Ravi Shankar officially visited Ukraine for the first time.

During the month of April, he visited 18 cities in 13 countries. Guests from India and America came with Him to Kiev. From Russia more than 200 people came to meet Master.



In Kiev for a week was unbelievable for this time of the year over 30-degree heat, and exactly up to the arrival of Master the storm broke, cool and refreshing spring city, surrounded by blooming chestnuts.



On the road from the airport Guruji visited Orthodox shrine in Kiev: Kievo-Pecherskaya Lavra and St. Vladimir's Cathedral.



In the Kievo-Pecherskaya Lavra, Guruji was warmly welcomed by Abbot Hilarion. He showed the various shrines and told a thousand-year history of the place. Abbot took with special interest Guruji's invitation to come to India, as he studied a variety of philosophical schools of the world. With Sri Sri, he talked on the best Russian-language edition of Indian philosophy and religion - "Indian philosophy", written by the President of India Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.



The first official person who met Sri Sri in Kiev was the deputy of the Verkhovnaya Rada of Ukraine Ivan Zyatc, he welcomed the international guests in Ukraine. During the meeting, deputy noted that human values, which are reviving by Sri Sri are very important both for Ukraine and for the whole world.



In the Vladimir Cathedral, Sri Sri met Boris the abbe - rector of the Cathedral. Abbe heads the main church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Kiev's Patriarchate. Abbe Boris met Sri Sri with the words: "It is a great honor to welcome the representative of such ancient culture as India. Not only for Ukraine but for all states of the former Soviet Union, Indian culture is particularly valuable. Back in 60s, 70s every educated person knew and appreciated the culture of India with its dance and music, thanks to an amazing masterpiece of Indian cinema. Ukrainian and Indian culture remarkably similar in spirit. You, as a representative of an ancient culture, of course, have something to share with us". In parting, abbe Boris warmly embraced Guruji presented a rare icon and said: "This meeting will remain forever in my heart. I wish you success in whatever you do. You do goodness to people - this is especially important for the modern world."



At the evening Satsang with Master people got answers for many of their questions. After the meditation, Guruji has got an amazing bouquets of flowers, twice walked around the audience, giving everyone the opportunity to meet Him without barriers and distances.



The program began on May, 4: Guruji, surrounded by devotees, planted a tree of pink magnolias - a symbol of purity, nobility and perseverance. Totally there were planted 20 trees. Surprisingly, right at the time in the Botanical garden other events took place: an interview and an exhibition of paintings of UN representative in Ukraine and a folk song ensemble of Ukrainian national songs. Television Group, who shot the interview quickly moved on to shoot an interview with Sri Sri, journalists have received answers to several important questions concerning the ecology of Ukraine and the world. Then Guruji approached a group of 15 singers of folk songs, who were making a video in the alley, and they sang for Him one of their lively and cheerful Ukrainian songs.



At 11 am in the Chamber of Commerce of Ukraine began the seminar "Yoga for Health and Happiness." Sri Sri taught more than 800 people the basics of yoga, unique breathing techniques, as well as how the sounds and songs affect on our mind and intellect.



Then launched a ceremonial of 200 social projects in Ukraine, initiated by the International "Art of Living" Foundation. In particular, several "Non Aggression Program" for the orphans, children with cancer took a place. Also there was held a teleconference showed an exhibition in Donetsk: drawings of disadvantaged children. The whole audience watched as Sri Sri spoke with the children and the organizers of the project as well as with the teachers of these programs.



After this, Sri Sri participated in a round table discussion on "Spiritual values in politics, business and charity" with progressive Ukrainian politicians, businessmen, sportsmen and artists. And immediately after the round table discussion he joined a press conference.



In the evening an open conversation with Guruji "Charge yourself with action" gathered more than 1 500 people. We all had the opportunity to ask yoga Master personally and to learn the secrets of happy living. Also, Sri Sri has conducted a deep meditation, it was an amazing event - 1 500 people in the Chamber of Commerce of Ukraine in the very center of Kiev in absolute silence.



In the evening, Sri Sri met with all the teachers and organizers who have come to the meeting with Him from Russia, Ukraine and other countries. Each interested was able to solve the problem for their city or country, and to express gratitude to Master for his wonderful care.



First Guruji's visit to Ukraine was beautiful and unforgettable.

Master blessed ... Kiev, Ukraine ... and yet ... all we ... Russia, Ukraine, BelaRUS ..... WE ALL ... IS ANCIENT RUSSIA! Kiev's Russ! We're all one big family! We have nothing to divide, we have something to share! ONE WORLD FAMILY! This is Master's vision... And he shares his vision with the WORLD! Vasudeva Kutumbakam - The whole world is one big family ....

This course is a journey to the heart, it will lead you to deep rest and to joyful time in the Ashram at Black Forrest. Sadhana, daily Pooja , Satsang , pure nature and much more are welcoming you.

The course will be led by Dr. Lita Dash (B.A.M.S.), Experts in Marma & Marma Prana, specialist in Naadi Pareeksha - the knowledge of ancient pulse diagnosis. and experts in Agnikarma.

This is a unique opportunity to learn Marma from such an experienced person. The training will include basic ancient knowledge about Marma therapy as well the basics of Ayurveda Knowledge. Within the training you will be able to give treatments to friends and after checking/ exam you can start working with it.

What is Marma therapy?

Marma is a Sanskrit word meaning ' secret, hidden, vital.' On the surface of our body are sensitive points where energy or Prana is concentrated. Marma is the ancient technique of activating energy points on the physical level to energise and relax the whole system. By exerting gentle pressure on these Marma points, one can release the blocks and allow the Prana or life energy to flow to the connecting organs or tissues, thus giving them a new lease of life. Marma promotes a greater balance and integration of the body, mind and consciousness.

Prerequisites:

- Minimum of 2 Advanced courses or 1 advanced and 1DSN or Blessing Course or 1 advanced course and any TTC.

-- recommendation letter (E Mail) from an Art of Living teacher who knows you.

- You must also carry out daily Sadhana practice.

Please note: you must have completed at least one course in presence of Guruji (Part II or III)



Dates: The training starts on 20th of June with Satsang at 7.30 pm and will finish on 26 th June by 6 pm.
