This year, on 27th March, Earth Hour will reach global proportions. Close to a
billion people from over 900 cities across the world will join this show of
solidarity against climate change.
Art of Living too is committed to the cause. Last year, starting from Earth
Hour, we undertook a planned effort towards energy saving . This year too we
appeal everyone to switch off lights and unplug non-essential equipment at
their homes and offices.
We request you to participate in the cause. In keeping with the spirit of Earth
Hour, here are some easy ways to be energy efficient.
By setting the Air conditioner temperature at 24 deg C - you could see a dip
in energy consumption.
By fixing dripping taps.
By not leaving electronic appliances in standby mode.
By using CFL bulbs instead of regular bulbs.
And most importantly, switch off lights when not in use.
