oath with candles lighting and joyous involvement in the euphoric divine
Satsang.
On the last day of Maha Navchetana Shibirs, a Mass Awareness Campaign will be
conducted. At Jalandhar Maha Navchetna Shibir, a Cleanliness Drive will be
carried out, which will stress the need for making the public properly aware of
the grave need to keep their surroundings clean and hygienic.

Subject: $12,500 One Day Tomato Plant Sales in IAHV fundraiser
The Bountiful Garden team had our first plant sale of the spring and cleared
$12,500 in sales. All proceeds will be going towards IAHV programs in Haiti.
We have enough plants left to maybe raise another $10K if we can get the
customers to show up.
At just $3.00 per plant, that's a lot of plants sold and we had a couple of
thousand people visit our event at which we handed out some very tasty Art of
Living basic course flyers.
BGF is a fantastic community outreach service project. We've had over 100
volunteers, mostly high school kids from the community, help us process plants
and we're able to touch the lives of thousands of people while at the same time
raising lots of money for service projects.
Bountiful Garden really is the perfect seva project and we urge everyone to
strongly consider implementing it your area. We can provide seeds and
expertise as well as 501c(3) coverage.

Art of Living hosts musical concert and felicitate prominent social
contributors and support RIA
The Art of Living Foundation, hosted a musical concert – Spring Tunes by
Chitra Roy, a famous International singer on 19 March 2010 at the Kanoo
International School Auditorium. The event held under the patronage of H.E. Dr
Fatima M Al Balooshi, the Minister of Social Development Ministry saw more than
650 people enjoying the mesmerizing tunes of Chitra Roy. The Chief Guest of
the evening was Ms Maha Al Mandeel, the Assistant Undersecretary of the
Ministry of Social Development and the Guest of Honor was H.E. Dr George
Joseph, the Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During this concert, the Foundation felicitated individuals who have, and
continue to play, a significant role in supporting the local community. AOL
recognized the hard work of Shaikha Hind bint Salman Al Khalifa, for her work
with the Children and Mother's Welfare Society, Sheikha Maram bint Isa Al
Khalifa, for her efforts to promote Bahrain International Garden Show, and Mrs.
Mona Almoayyed, for her dedicated work with Migrant Workers Protection Society.
We all are delighted at the show's phenomenal success. The response we
received from the people of Bahrain was absolutely overwhelming. Chitra Roy,
responding to the crowd's enthusiasm, was superb and at her best. I am sure
each and every person who attended the show was glad to have gotten their hands
on an invite.
The Foundation also came out in support of The Rehabilitation Institute for
Active Learning (RIA), a centre catering to the needs of national and
expatriate students with communication disorders, during the concert.
H.E. Dr George Joseph released the souvenir of Spring Tunes by handing over the
first copy to Ms Maha Mandeel, the Ministry representative.
We wish to place on record our thankfulness to the Minister of Social
Development for patronizing the event and the Ministry of Culture and
Information for their remarkable support.

I have recently finished Basic Course at Jodhpur under Sh.Mahesh Sharma along
with my wife.It was a wonderful experience for both of us.We were so much
motivated by Mahesh bhaiya that we immediately enrolled for advance course
under Rishi Vidhya Dharji commencing from 24 March 2010.
My name is Vipin Goyal and I serve Govt.of Rajasthan as financial advisor/chief
accounts officer.Presently I am posted in Rajasthan High Court Jodhpur.My wife
Pushpa Goyal is running an NGO at Jodhpur for last 15 years and its name is
Pearl Sansthan.Pearl is Planned Efforts for Advance Rural Life.After
inspiration by Mahesh ji we are willing to offer our services to conduct YLTP
in many nearby villages of Jodhpur.This is our committment to him.Mahesh bhaiya
was kind enough to visit nearby village Kakelav and address young boys and
girls of that village distributed pictures of Guruji and many of them already
knew Guruji.
In slum areas of jodhpur we have infrastructure of opening a school may be Sri
Sri Vidhyashala for about 20 children who are presently not going to any
school.Mahesh bhaiya also visited the site and he liked it.So we have made a
committment to him to start a session this year.
I hope with the kind blessings of Guruji we will be able to fulfill all our

Youth Empowerment Seminar – YES!
The YES! program is an interactive workshop with powerful processes which will
give direction and focus to the students. The program will give a competitive
edge to all successful participants over others who have not undergone the
training. The Sudarshan Kriya®, a process unique to the Art of Living,
eliminates toxins from the system and clears the mind of stress, negative
emotions and mental blocks.
Participants will not only play a lot of interesting games, they will also
learn special breathing techniques, as well as tools to increase their
awareness, focus and creativity. The YES! course is offered as a four day

YES! Advanced Course – YES! 2

Subject: Kuwait is Rocking.
We have just completed a Part-1 course in Kuwait, with 182 participants from 12
countries and it was simply AMAZING! It was really a multicultural and
multinational course, which was conducted by one of our most loving senior
teacher. She was Patricia Montella from the United States of America. We had
participants from Kuwait, Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Ghana, Philippines,
Sweden, Pakistan, Srilanka, Bangladesh and India. The group comprised many
highly educated individuals like Doctors, University Professors and many
company executives like HR Directors and CEO's. To respect the local culture
and tradition of Kuwait, we made separate sitting arrangement for men and women
and they were separately taken care of by men and women course facilitators.
Since it was a multinational group, we had arranged volunteers to translate
wherever it was necessary. Each and every participant enjoyed the course from
the beginning till the end. Last day was nothing less than a big
celebration...everyone brought and shared food. What a wonderful sight and
feeling of "One World Family"!
The experience shared at the end of the course was something that left everyone
wonder struck. Some of the experiences shared by the participants were.......
- Blood Sugar levels for the insulin dependent diabetics went down during the
course to a safe level of 5.5.
- One person who could not sleep at night for years, slept peacefully during
the 4 day course.
- Doctors - who realized that they had stopped being happy human beings told
that they have started smiling at their staff and patients.
- Smokers stopped smoking and promised not to smoke in future (This is one of
the issue prevailing in this part of the world).
- One participant suffering from a dry mouth for years got cleared during the
course.
- Almost everyone expressed the need of such workshops for the people around
them.
On the last day of the course we had arranged registration desks for upcoming
Part-II courses in Middle East, Arosa and India and DSN courses in Middle East.
So many participants registered for these courses.
During the last process the whole hall was reverberating with "I belong to you"
and "I love you". How wonderful this planet would be when each soul can utter
these wonderful words????
We could feel the presence of our beloved Master at each and every moment
during this course.
We all are grateful to you Guruji.......for making us tools to touch these
lives.......

The venue of the course, Atul Vidyalya, is situated in a thickly wooded campus
of 24 acres located inside the residential colony of Atul Ltd in Atul, 8 kms
from Valsad which is on the Western Railway between Mumbai and Surat.
The colony is spread out on the foothills of Parnera Hill and on the banks of
Par river which meets the Arabian Sea about 5 kms away.
The campus is on a mild gradient (like our Bangalore Ashram) and utilizes the
contours well. It is easily one of the most beautiful campus in this region.
