Campaign.
MahaNavchetna Shibirs - The revolutionary movement that began at Jalna in
Maharashtra has travelled across various cities and states to now make a mark
at Jalandhar City. The city is resonating with echo of…
For the upcoming Jalandhar Maha Navchetna Shibir, Art of Living with the
support of massive base of volunteers will start a campaign to make the city
cleaner and greener. Jalandhar city will be a lot cleaner and greener by late
April with the mass cleaning campaign.
All together around 3000 volunteers and workforce of Jalandhar Municipal
Corporation, equipped with masks, gloves and sticks and brooms, will clean the
main town area and market area on 18th April, Sunday. By the end of the day,
they would have cleared several metric tonnes of garbage. The campaign will
cover almost all corners of the city.
Shri Mahesh Gireeji shared his view: "Cleaning campaigns shouldn't wait for
big events to happen," he said. "There should be educational drives to let
people understand about having a clean and green city."

15 - 18 April - MAHA NAVCHETNA SHIBIR
5.30-8.30 am & 5.30-8.30 pm
18th April - A MASS AWARENESS CAMPAIGN -
Swarg Mera Jalandhar- Ab Hoga Saaf bahar aur Ander
18th April - MANTRANAAD –6.30 pm onwards
Venue - Guru Gobindsingh Stadium, Jalandhar, Punjab.
The Shibir concludes with "Mantranaad", with the participant taking
swearing ceremony where they take oath with candles lighting and joyous
involvement in the euphoric divine Satsang.
Although the earlier Renaissance saw revolutions in many awareness pursuits, as
well as social and political upheaval, this one perhaps will be best known for
its societal and community developments and bringing a transformation through
mass movements.
