Mahesh Gireeji……….to make this "MahaShivratri" @ Kolkata an
exhilarating experience.

The Wake up & Shake up at Kokata was a thunderous success….more than 500
participants…….left the venue late at 10 pm on 28th with a Yes mind,
increased self-esteem, better behavior, better co-ordination and concentration
and focus on the Mahashivratri agenda…..enthused young n old leaders coming
back on 29th evening with a collection of one lakh and sixteen thousand with
just a couple of hours of campaigning..

Throughout the program Mahesh Giree ji kept our minds & hearts captivated…Oh!
so much of power lies within us…it was outstanding experience…sparklingly
delightful…. Everyone danced to the tunes of bhajans…as though in a trance.
The result of Wake up & Shake up was apparent…it has shaken Kolkata…melted
in love…of the Master…No words can describe what the spirit has

Subject: experiencing mysteries and miracles of TTC

If you never thought of or hesitate whether to take TTC or not - definitely DO
IT!!! (...remember: you always doubt the positive! right? :) ...so... ) If
you are not sure if and how you can afford it, find the time, whether you are
good enough to be a teacher - definitely make it your new year resolution, and
simply know that it is going to happen for you! That's my experience.
The TTC I took in December in Washington, DC was a new year fireworks of
miracles, and mysteries!!!!

It all started last summer with a red tin box marked "for TTC" where I put $100
each month from my low income salary as a childcare provider... Or, maybe, on
Christmas a year ago, from a notebook where I started to keep a list of the
intro talks I conducted, courses I helped to organize and co-teach, Knowledge
series I listened, etc,etc -- tracking my progress towards TTC
requirements....Or, maybe, when I heard Guruji encouraging all of us to be
teachers - not once, but at least on a few different occasions (and I would
raise my hand indicating my intent, but without any idea how could that be
possible for me...; I just wanted to be helpful to people, to be of use for
him, knowing well my shortcomings, and limitations...).

It is said somewhere if you take one step toward God, He will take hundred
steps towards you. Sure enough, when two weeks before the deadline I was still
far away from covering the course fee, I appealed to all my friends, relatives,
and the satsang group to support me as a new teacher - the money started to
pour in like magic!!! I completed my fundraising in A WEEK! That was the
biggest ever Christmas present for me! I was allowed to take the time off
work, too, and even my husband got a business trip to China during most of the
time I would be away for the course, so I won't feel guilty leaving him alone
for the holidays!

And the miracles kept rolling, big and small, too long to account for all of
them (like being singled out for a FREE random upgrade on the plane to DC from
economy to business class! or finding contacts in DC - which is all the way
across the continent from Seattle where I live - coming to me from unexpected
sources)... But the biggest miracle, and mystery was my own transformation
during the course!

TTC made me grow so intensely, so much: in knowledge of my own tricky mind, and
understanding of the mystery of the Sudhashan Kriya, knowledge points of the
Art of Living course; in communication and speach skills, in organizing and
leadership skills! I feel I skyrocketed during those three weeks in my inner
strength, enthusiasm, skills, and belongingness. I can use my time much more
efficient, and I am more dynamic...And even if all those tremendous benefits
were not manifest for me - just being able to be near such enlightened souls,
tireless seva warriors, and master teachers like Michael Fischman, Bill Herman,
Annelies, Mona, Natalie, and Priti was such a great blessing! I felt preveleged
to be taught, coached, and inspired by them, listen to their Guru stories --
something like being with the first apostles experience... Their wisdom,
intuition, enthusiasm, committment, and devotion, skills in leadership and
communicating the knowledge to all are unparallel. Thanks to TTC I made dear
friends - my course mates - from all across the US with whom I'll work
together on bringing the Art of Living to the community here, and who will
support my endeavors.

One more important thing: as a Russian national residing in the US, I am glad
that I completed my TTC in Washington, DC, because I got a better
understanding of the American mentality and infrastructure, which are quite
unique; more professional and skillful ways to organize courses, events, and
approach individuals, and organizations in the country where I live and do most
of my Art of Living outreach.

The next TTC in the US is this summer. Make your plans now!
