Inland Empire - celebrates Guruji's sankalpa of NEW ART OF LIVING CENTER IN LOS
ANGELES with full force!!!
Inland Empire showered with Guru's grace and blessings, hails the honor and
privilege of sharing Guru's sankalpa by hosting and organizing the largest Part
1 course with 61 participants year to date across the USA. Inland Empire, which
for all practical purposes had no Art of Living presence as of two years ago
now has a center in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. As early as two years ago there was
no Art of Living activity in the area. Sundeep and Seema Jain, two new comers
and devotees of Sri Sri, were moved and touched by Guru's grace and decided to
launch a local Art of Living chapter. Since the birth of Inland Empire Art of
Living movement, several courses have been organized in the area with regular
weekly follow up satsang. Special Thanks to our dedicated team of Inland Empire
Area Volunteers; Bindi Patel, Rajbir, Harvinder, Kaushal, Sonia, Narendra Patel
& Family!
Within last 17 days senior teacher Ashish Pandya taught 4 courses in greater
Los Angeles metro area where Inland Empire led the way with a grand total of 61
participants, followed by Los Angeles with a participant count of 57(led by the
3 dynamites of Bay Area: Ram, Naren & Rutwik); followed by an Educators course
in Apple Valley with 50 school principals, teachers and staff members

49 participants in Orange county. A TOTAL OF 217 PARTICIPANTS!!
On behalf of Inland Empire local chapter we would like to thank our tea of
volunteers and our Teacher Ashish Pandeya for their support and encouragement
to make this happen.
As Guruji says when Los Angeles moves - The US moves, and when the US moves the
whole World moves. Amazed and grateful to be a part of this phenomenal
movement! The next tidal wave of Grace and Knowledge is happening on Feb 11 -
14 at the NEW LOS ANGELES CENTER led by Ashishji. Please send everybody you

Subject: Mahashivratri in Kolkata - A story
O Rama now listen to the strange story of the King Vipash-chit.. On hearing of
the imminent defeat of his armies from his badly wounded General, the king held
a Yagna for Agni, the Fire-God. Offering his own head in sacrifice Vipashchit,
by the Grace of Agni, achieved his sankalp of getting 4 bodies.
Thus rejuvenated with strength and having 4 bodies available for himself, the
powerful king went out to meet the enemy at the 4 different gates of his huge
Fort. In no time he was successful in routing the enemy and began pursuing them
to the different forests and sea shores in the different directions and
remained thus engaged for a long long time.
Now O Rama, each Vipashchit met a different fate. While one achieved Nirvana
three others were tied to Karma and went through several births!
Ram intervened with a query, " O great Vashisth, it indeed is strange how the
same Vipashchit could have 4 different destinies. Sir, please tell me where are
the other 3 now?
To this Vashishth replied, "It is not difficult to understand why they had
different destinies because Prevalent Times, Place and State of Mind play a
role in the evolution of thoughts and actions leading to different Karma thus
different results! And now, O Ram, despite my skills I cannot trace two of them
since they last chose destinies that took them to entirely different Creations.
Yet the third Vipaschit is here Ram, in your own garden, in the form of a
deer!"
Filled with pity Ram had the deer bought into the Discussion Hall and prayed to
Vashisht to have the original Vipaschit restored. Vashishth resolved that only
Agni could restore the deer into his long lost form. Meditating thus, the great
sage invoked Agni and a huge fire arose in the hall. The fire was bereft of
smoke, sparks or soot nor dependant on any form of fuel, yet scary to those
seated therein.
The Great Guru Vashisht prayed to Agni to remove the sins of Vipaschit even as
his own benevolent eyes burnt away the kings Karma. Inspired thus from those
great flames arose the form of Vipashchit. Bowing to the Great Saint who had
freed him Vipashchit meditated and realised his different births and satisfied
thus arose and took the seat offered to him by Dasharth and imbibed from this
Great Guru, who had freed him, the Knowledge of Brahman!
Maha Shivratri is being celebrated in Kolkata on 12 th Feb 2010 in the presence
of Guruji.
