Every participant….wondered…."it was your decisions, and not your
conditions, that determined your destiny. Mahesh Gireeji, facilitating through
the process to ask empowering questions in moments of crisis….the questions
that would determine our thoughts and the actions thereafter.This Shibir was
perhaps the biggest Sri Sri Yoga of The Art of Living so far…End of the
day….Mahesh Giree ji conducted AHO sessions for the untiring organizing
team of Dhule …shared such a beautiful knowledge and series of Guru
stories… These were like ICING ON THE CAKE FOR ALL OF US!!! The other moment
you find the gathering sitting down……the yogis in a Yagna….People doing
yogasnas without a single volunteer correcting them… so clear were the
instructions and the conduction of Shibir by Mahesh Gireeji….engrossing the
self, energising the environment,,, bringing in serenity and tranquillity of
the mind.
Last day – Mass Awareness Campaign on Remove Plastic, Save Dhule….more than
15,000 people coming out on the streets to educate and inspire to drop using
plastics…that was a scenario worth watching…and Mantranaad – a call to
every Indian….more than 35,000 people took oath – 8 pledges – not to
support terrorism, corruption, female feticide, to save water and environmental
resources, vow for cleanliness of the surroundings, following traffic rules,
dropping addictions, using one's voting rights etc…

Did you know that all 4 maths set up by Adi Guru Shankaracharaya have each a
"Maha - Vakya" or "Great Words" taken from the Upanisads.
These were " Ayam Atman Brahman" - "This Self (Atman) is Brahman"
"Tat Tvam Asi" - "Thou art That"
Prajanam Brahman - "Consciousness is Brahman"
Aham Brahmasmi - "I am Brahman"
Each of these great words from the Upanisads say that "wholeness" is within us.
Should we then not look within for the truth.
Why not meditate??????? Why not meditate with a Living benevolent Guru???

Spirit of Shri Mahesh Gireeji…And people of Kolkata, will found a leading
light amongst them, a person who has his life's goal to remind people –
people just like you and me…that the power to uplift our lives lies sleeping
within us….YES….The Mahesh Gireeji ….the one the entire Kolkata is
buzzing about.
It was very beautifully put that the 79 arrows that made the makeshift bed for
Bhishm Pitamah in the battle field of Mahabharat, are indicative of the 79
patterns of our life, that entangle us. The Wake Up Shake Up program will make
you recognize some of such patterns and free you from them. When you
experience the barriers that suffocate you …..you shall also recognize
Moksha.
Shri Mahesh Gireeji struck an instant cord of harmony and love with the
participants and soon the entire congregation and the affection for the "man
of masses" was so great that the people on the roads, in their cars…..waved
out to him with that twinkle of affection in their eyes.
Indeed a great privilege for Kolkata to have Shri Mahesh Gireeji…..
