Subject: Mahashivratri in Kolkata - Another Story
The lad of six prayed to the Goddess Sri to bestow wealth on this poor woman
who gave him her only "amla" out of piety. Yet the Goddess explained that the
woman did not deserve wealth as she and her family had done no charity. Unmoved
by this explanation Shankara recited verses praising the Goddess and of her
boundless piety until the Goddess was pleased and showered the house of the
woman with Golden Amla's.
Shankara challenged the Charvaks and said, "while you do not believe in the
existence of God you claim that there is a "moral law". I reconcile it by
saying that that which the Avatar Buddha called the Moral Law and into that
which you become a non-entity at Nirvana is verily the same as the Almighty
Lord Brahman of the Vedas. And while you claim that the world is suffering and
eternally changing and destructible, the vedanta claim that the world is
eternally changing yet it is made up of Brahman Himself and is no different
from Him. Hence you must recognise your Unity with Him. Hence, you must
recognise that there is no place for suffering in this world, there is no
duality in this world and that this world is the Lila of Brahman, or the dance
of the divine.
He was the first Guru of Joy in Kaliyug.
Maha Shiv Ratri is being celebrated in Kolkata on 12 th Feb 2010 in the
presence of His Holiness Sri Sri Rvishankarji.

profile and functions of coordinators are mentioned below.
Profile of a coordinator:
Have an excellent communication skill.
Be people Friendly.
Computer savvy.
Must be able to spend 3-4 hrs in week for AOLHR.
General Functions of coordinators:
Building Candidate database: Consistently contacting prospective candidates to
create awareness about AOLHR, announcing about AOLHR in satsangs, follow-ups,
and gatherings. Candidates can send their resume to aolhr.resumes@gmail.com .
Building client database: By approaching prospective clients and encouraging
them to recruit candidates from AOLHR. We have a track record of placing
candidates in various sectors: Healthcare, IT/ITES, Construction, Banking,
Education, Telecom, to name a few.
In each state, there will be 2 State Co-ordinators, and in every district 1-2
District Coordinators.
Here is a brief description of the roles and responsibilities of the
coordinators.
State Coordinators:
The State coordinators will be the point of contact between the district
coordinators and the National AOLHR office in Bangalore .
They will be responsible for making sure that district coordinators are
creating awareness about AOLHR, collecting resumes. All publicity material will
be sent from Bangalore office.
District co-ordinators:
Will be reporting to the State coordinators.
Creating awareness in all AOL centers about AOLHR, passing on client contacts,
to State coordinators.
Take care of publicity locally in all Satsangs and follow-ups.
