The Story inspired by Shri Maheshgiriji and his Maha Navchetana Shibir at
Rajkot
(Shri Maheshgiriji's Maha Navchetana Shibir at Rajkot inspired us to
organize Navchetana Shibir for 10,000 students)
The month of February the city of Rajkot (in Gujrat) was the venue for a
mammoth MahaNavchetna Shibir & Balchetana Shibir under the esteemed presence of
"Shri Mahesh Giriji".
More than fifty thousand participants who attended the Shibir were overjoyed
and overwhelmed by the vitality, versatility and verve of the Mahesh Giriji.
During the Shibir We met "Shri Maheshgiriji" & had the privilege of
experiencing his dynamic presence day after day.
With the grace and blessings of "Guruji", an idea sparked …. why not we
get the children from all the schools at Rajkot, to benefit from this
awe-inspiring programs of Mahanavchetna & Bal navchetna Shibirs? And WE TOOK A
SANKALP THAT WE WILL ORGANIZE NAVCHETANA SHIBIRS FOR AT LEAST 10,000 STUDENTS.
The decision was taken instantly that during the month of June,July, 2009, at
least 6000 [six thousand] students should have the privilege of attending the
Navchetna Shibirs. This was decided the instant the children attending the
shibir went euphoric at the venue. Today, when we see the sweet smile on the
face of the participants we understand the magic of "GURU GRACE". This
would not have been possible without his blessings.
Like the pour of the Ganges from Gangotri—unstoppable and incessant, the
courses began everyday, in and out, morning and evening.
Thank you Guruji – Thank you Mahesh Giriji.
During the start of the month of June – two people with the similar Ideology
started working towards the goal to be achieved. On 5th , 6th & 7th June,
began the individual contacts with different schools. On 9th June, an old
school – "Lal Bahadur Shastri girls school", gave us the first
Confirmation immediately! This happened upon just one contact with the school
and the very next day the Shibir started…… there is no stopping of it till
date.
The teachers of Art of living were of great help at even a short notice. Nearly
6000 students have already undergone the various Navchetana Shibirs conducted
in more 8 schools of Rajkot.
Shri Maheshgiriji and The Maha Navchetana Shibir, he conducted at Rajkot gave
us a strength and inspiration to put our 100% tirelessly.. There are still a
lot more schools in waiting. There are nearly 844 Schools in Rajkot. The
District Education officer "Mr.Bagda" has given an open circular, of
permission to conduct Shibir in all the schools & spread the teachings and to
pass on the messages of our beloved "Guruji".
The Volunteers those who are actively participating under the selfless guidance
of our devotee "Mr. Dilip Patel" are Chintan, Moiz, Nikunj Vithlani, Amit
Thumar, Chetan Devani, Krishna Shingala, Meghna Sheth & Dr. Mukesh Patel.
The immense response of this Shibirs is an indication of how well received will
this shibirs be in very near future, which would be long lastingly effective.
Last but not the least, all of the above has been happening beyond our thought,
expectation and imagination.
Indeed, this is "Guruji" – himself who is arranging everything & making
the path very easy for us.
