Celebrating Guru Poornima 2012 in Delhi & NCR
The Art of Living Delhi & NCR family celebrated Guru Poornima with its usual
enthusiasm. Teachers & volunteers came together to share in & spread the
blessings of the Master. Details of some of the events that took place are
as follows:
*North-I: A Medical camp, satsang and a blood donation camp were organized.
A free medical camp was organized in mangolpuri, benefitting more than 300
people. The people were given proper medical checkups followed by blessings
which were given to them by AOL teachers. After this, a grand satsang was
organized in Agrasen Bhawan, Pitampura, followed by a Samuhik Rudra Pooja.
The Guru Purnima week was ended by organizing a mega blood donation camp in
which 147 people donated their blood.
*North-II: A satsang was organized for all the North II devotees.
Approximately 1000 people participated in the satsang, along with om namah
shivaya chanting & full moon meditation. A blood donation camp was organized
on 8th July, where many devotees expressed gratitude towards the Master by
donating blood. Due to this camp, devotees have donated enough blood to save
approximately 160 lives.
*South-I: A special Long Kriya session, along with Guru Puja & a satsang was
organized, attended by more than 400 people.
*South-II: Most of the centers held a Guru Puja along with a Kriya session.
In the evening, a special satsang took place in Shiv Mandir, Green Park, in
a large hall with marble steps that were beautifully decorated with flowers.
Swami Bishambarji did the guru puja. The satsang was attended by about 400
devotees from the entire South-II area; the temple was packed and there was
no space left. The highlight was the spirit of Sanghachadwam with all
devotees - ADCs, teachers, volunteers and even non AOLites participated
enthusiastically. Everybody left after taking blessings from Swamiji.
*East: East Delhi devotees celebrated the day in a very unique manner by
organizing a Mega event - 'Aashirwad - Ek Anubhav Purnata ka'. The program
started with Ganesh Puja followed by beautiful soul stirring bhajans.
Thereafter, Guru Puja was conducted by 51 Guru Puja teachers; such a Guru
puja was organized for the first time in Delhi. Immediately after the Guru
puja, three vedic pandits chanted mantras which made the environment very
meditative. This was followed by a few more bhajans and Full Moon
Meditation. Over 3500 devotees had the pleasure of soaking in the bliss and
gratitude during the enthralling, absorbing and mind blowing event which was
also graced by Shri Mahesh Gupta Ji, VVKI trustee and Shri Maheish Giree Ji,
International Director & Senior AOL Faculty. Irrespective of their age, all
devotees fully participated and danced to the melodious strains of the
bhajans. Towards the end, Shri Mahiesh Giriee ji addressed the audience and
spoke about Guru Tatva and how each one of us should be grateful for the
transformation in our lives the Master has brought. In the end, all the
devotees had a grand feast during the dinner that was arranged. Blood
donation camps were also organized in two places in East Delhi - DAV School,
Sreshtha Vihar and in IP Extension, in association with Guru Teg Bahadur
Hospital. There was a long queue of devotees willing to donate their blood
and people kept pouring in even after it was over. There was wonderful
support from the DAV school in this event. Many of their staff members and
students too donated their blood for this great cause. Around 50 units of
blood were collected in the Sreshtha Vihar camp while around 25 units were
collected in the IP Extension camp.

DSN WITH ANANDJI IN MUMBAI...
"Un-calculated Risk makes one grow in LEAPS & BOUNDS". When we think, plan,
and try to execute....there is a
sense of boredom that sets in.
When we work within the realm of limited mind, the BIG vision cannot be
accomplished...
For the BIG vision to accomplished, the limitedness has to *break*.
Then we move with Trust, Faith that Master takes care of us at every step !
All avenues open up.
The path becomes beautiful ! There is newness...there is freshness...there
is creativity....every moment.
