Subject: 3 Days with Guruji in ISHTYLE!!!!
What a superr 3 days with Guruji!!!
The first Devi Puja on 24th Feb in Delhi NCR with several thousands of devotees took sankalpa and it just took him 5 mins after sitting to get into Bhav! Blessings showered and what a mood he was in.... He met every devotee who had done sewa personally, not once but twice and thrice. In the Mahasatsang yesterday, he danced singing "Narayan Narayan jai jai govind hare..." making everone in the crowd get up and dance too... Like a mother who was soo happy with her children. Each AOL volunteer and teacher from North Delhi and so many from Delhi NCR including the Puja team contributed to make this event a super success, great teamwork all across. The most beautiful thing was that all Non AOLites kept running for HIS darshan saying.."Humare Guruji aaye hain...He met all key dignitaries of North Delhi and every street light pole colony gate and every rickshaw had Gurujis posters... and asked everyone to stand up and take responsibility to make a divya samaj in Delhi and multiply the centers we have today.!
The Advance course was the best ever with over 1100 + people doing the course(lets not forget that last month we had 11 Advance courses in Delhi NCR Guruji gave such a short notice to organise). Mind blowing meditations, Satsangs with the Lord Himself!!! Excellent arrangements, food and the best part was that every center sent people. A saamoohik yagya where almost every teacher in Delhi NCR gave their Aahooti! Guruji gave darshan to everyone and what wonderful work done by the Advance course organsing team.
The Youth event organsed by YES+ was simply mind blowing. Guruji came wearing goggles addressing over ten thousand in the lawns of Hindu College.YES plus volunteers presented a wonderful dance presentation on key mantras of life-awareness, centredness, forgiveness, acceptance, responsibility, etc.Guruji was in mood and while getting up threw his shawl in style said "you need to do everything in style and get out in style too". The Q&A was the best part, he just bowled the crowd with his answers and every answer would invite roars of applause from the youth who had come to see their hero...their celebrity! When asked "Whats teh secret of your energy?" he said "I have revealed it all in YES and YES plus course!". He said all hopes are on youth and we need to bring BCCI under RTI. When asked "Which party to vote ?" he laughingly said "we should keep changing. Vote for honest people whichever party the are from. Then moneypower and muscle power will then go. Do not let people in power for long. Give them holiday. Lagaam should be in hands of youth"....and the crowd were in pits of lalughter....and the best one was "I am already cool why should i do YES+" to which he said " all people before teh course say that but i say...you will be cooler!!!". When asked " Insaaniyat kam hoti jaa rahi hai.." he replied "Nazar nazar ki baat hai...mujhe koi bura nahin dikhta, bus dukhi aur bewakoof dikhte hain..". and when asked "Will the world come to an end in 2012, he said with a twinkle..."Only in American movies dear.."He asked every youth to read yoga vasistha and do meditation and pranayama. There were huge crowds thronging on our registration desks wanting to register for our courses. Ammazing work done by YES+ team from mobilising crowd to raising funds!
Delhi NCr cant rest...we move on to the next milestome!!!
Delhi NCR gears up for March 24th with Volunteer Convention and March 25th with West Delhi's turn with the first ever Navratri Puja with Guruji and evening satsang in West Delhi.

Southern California Greetings, Dear Ones:
Noted below are some of the reasons I recommend the Mantra Sadhana Course with Dr. V. Sastry, Priest, Halifax Hindu Temple (Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada).
· One of the most generous and beneficial AOL courses in which I have participated since my first AOL course in approximately 2005.
· Sanskrit/English Mantra Sadhana Manual thoughtfully compiled by Sri Sri, Dr. Sastry-ji, AOL—it really shows.
· Dr. Sastry-ji welcomed questions, although I was so replete by all the detailed instruction and chanting I could truly only ask and receive/digest the answer for one question, even though I had a few more questions on my list.
· For a long-time, professional educator (and grandfather), very high energy and enthusiasm regarding Mantras and Vedic studies in general plus sincere stories told—with specific purposes/lessons. No wasted words or time.
· One {of several} unexpected "bonus": A Puja recognizing all 24 deities and using most (if not all) of the approximately 40 chants taught during the course. Another {surprise} bonus: It seems that from all the concentrated studies/chanting over 4 days I had a personal shift to a more sattvic view of some goings-on in my life and how to approach those goings-on in a more sattvic manner. JGD!
· After many years of experience studying with various Eastern and Vedic Studies teachers, it is a blessing to study with Dr. Sastry-ji – a "10" in quality and quantity. Look forward to his next course in Southern California. I intend to be there. It is good if you go, too. J
