Subject: TTC on Vedic Maths at Pune Ashram 28th March. - 3rd April 2011.
Vedic Maths is a unique way of learning Mathematics. It helps to carry out tedious and cumbersome mathematical operations in a simple way. The basic objective of Vedic mathematics is to make mathematics easy and interesting.The program makes one conceptually strong in Mathematics and are able to solve complex mathematical problems much faster and easier.
A Teacher's Training Course (TTC) in Vedic Mathematics is being offered at The Art of Living , Pune Ashram from 28th March. - 3rd April 2011.
This TTC is for Indian Resident Nationals only.
You can apply if:
(i) You are an Indian Resident National.
(ii) You have completed Art of Living Part I, Part II and DSN course.
(iii) You are a graduate in any field. Graduates in Mathematics related field will be given preference.
(iv) You are interested in learning and teaching Vedic Mathematics.
The Course contribution amount for the TTC is Rs.5000/- which includes food, accommodation and course material.
If you are made a Teacher of Vedic Mathematics, you will be expected to teach on a volunteer basis.
Hurry-up only 50 participants will be selected on first-come-first serve basis.

We had a very fulfilling visit to SSR Gyan Mandir School, at Banali village in Sangli distrcit of Maharashtra, on 26th Jan 11. It was very heartening to see the operational school with choldren, teachers and the school building itself. To those who just joined, Powai & Chandivali had jointly contributed to build the school buiding, at Banali, last year.
There are 225 children currently studying in the school. You would be glad to know that more than 200 students are on the waiting list, ready to join our school. The other side of the coin is that, the 6 classrooms are not sufficient to accommodate all the wait-listed children.
