What is DSN ? Divya Samaj ka Nirman - what does it mean? Our progress is
constrained by the barriers we put on ourselves. Every self has a huge
unlimited potential, but due to our own barriers we limit our growth. When
do we then realize the unlimited potential and break the barriers we put
around oneself.
The story herebelow, is about a lion cub, who gets separated at birth from
the Mother Lion. The Cub lion then wanders around the forest and mixes among
a herd of shieep and in course of time imbibes all the qualities of the
sheep - meekness, grazing grass etc.The lion cub now considers itself as a
sheep. After a couple of months/year, as the sheep along with lion cub are
grazing in the forest, a real Lion appears and on seeing the real Lion all
the Sheep run away in fright.
However, the lion cub (now grown) stays on. Looking at the Lion cub, the
real Lion asks -' hey! what are you doing among a herd of sheep? the Lion
cub replies - no! I am a sheep. The real Lion counters, no you are a Sheep,
This goes on for some time, the Real Lion trying to convince the Lion cub,
that it is a Lion and not a sheep. Finally, the real Lion tells the Lion
cub, comeon I will show you who you are and then takes the Lion cub near a
pond and then tells the Lion cub, See, for yourself who you are ? A Lion
.. Seeing itself reflecting in the Pond, the Lion cub is now very surprised
and knows now that it indeed is a Lion.. and suddenly finds its strength as
a Lion..
Moral -- You need another Lion to realize our own potential and strength of
a Lion..

Subject: Another Experience of Master's Grace - Montreal Trip to meet Guruji

Dear Ones,
I would like to share the below story of my Montreal Trip with all of you as
this is one which I will never forget. An experience which taught me a lot
without saying a word by the Master. Here it goes..
The trip to Montreal was one of the best(shortest) trips of my life. I made
the plan to visit Guruji and in-turn he adjusted his plan to meet me. That
is Guruji. Here it goes - We left Saturday night to the airport and the
flight was delayed by 30 mins to leave at 10:00 pm. Our plan with the
information we had at 9:45 pm was to reach Montreal and then go to the hotel
in downtown and sleep for the night and then leave to Montreal Ashram in the
morning at 4:00 am.
At 9:50 pm we come to know that Guruji already left the Montreal Ashram to
come back to Montreal and he was going to stay at the Marriot Hotel right at
the Airport we were landing.
fyi - Montreal Ashram is 2 hours away by car.
We then decided to see Guruji Sat night itself at the Mariott hotel at the
Airport. But when we reached the Mariott reception desk, We came to know
that Guruji already arrived 10 mins before us and went to bed. We didn't
want to disturb him. At that point we were in a dilemma whether to stay at
Mariott for $165 a night and also paying the penatly of one night at the
other hotel we booked. After a few minutes of thought we decided to pick the
car at Avis and head to the Hotel in Downtown 20 mins away from the Airport
where we had a reservation. We reached the Hotel and settled in to sleep at
2:00 am.
Raj woke up at 4:00 am and I woke up at 4:40 am. We both got freshened up.
Raj completed his Kriya by then. We reached Mariott at 6:00 AM and were able
to go to the 9th floor where Guruji was staying. Right after we went to the
9th floor I was told the hotel management disabled the elevator for public
use and made it accesible only by the room key. After reaching 9th floor we
were the only ones there. I then sat for my Kriya and completed it by 6:45
am. I felt His(Guruji's) presence when I was meditating after my Kriya. I
then decided to write everything I want to speak to Guruji on a paper, it
took 15 mins. The moment I put the period at the end to complete my letter,
Guruji's room opens up and I heard the devotees rushing in.
There were 15 of us and we all went inside, I was the last one in and
sittting at the back of the room. The first glance I had at him felt as if
he has not been taken care that well and he looked a little tired and
fatigued(Later Romy told me that he was meeting people at Montreal Ashram
without having any reasonable food all day). I felt deeply about his
physical state. Guru was seated and having his breakfast. He took two spoon
servings and looked at all of us. Most of the people in the room has already
met Guruji at the Ashram. He did mention that point and asked why they came
here again. He then got up to leave. I don't know how but I got in front of
him. After he met 3/4 people I was standing right in front of him. I waited
for his acknowledement and then went ahead and gave the letter to him, said
Thank You and then hugged him for the first time in my life. It was a
heavenly experience. I was done after that. He asked to take prasad to
everyone but everyone rushed right behind him to the Airport. I stayed in
his room alone and was in unstoppable tears of gratitude. I was amazed on
how he organized himself to meet me, I was very happy and at the same time
was a little uphappy as my sankalpa pushed Guruji to change his plans to
accomodate me. I made a stand then to do my best going forward to keep my
sankalpas to only the most important ones. I then sat in Guruji's room for
10 mins and cried more. I then left and came to the hotel lobby and ate my
orange which I picked up at the hotel. I then decided to cancel my hotel
reservation for Sunday night and leave on the next available flight. I
cancelled the hotel and waited for Raj who went behind Guruji to the
Airport. Once he arrived we went to the Continental desk and checked on the
next available flight to EWR. She said there was one at 10:20 am and it had
seats and our ticket can be used for the exchange for $50 fee each. We went
ahead and booked the flight. It was 8:00 am at that time. We then went out
filled the gas in the car and retured at Avis. The car agency also only
charged for a day since we returned a day earlier. We reached EWR at 11:30
pm. The whole trip from EWR-Montreal-EWR was around 14 hours. The shortest
and the best trip of my life.
That is the detailed gist of my trip :).
