Subject: upcoming weekend satsangs with Guruji and winter Part 3 courses
We are happy to share with you the latest news about winter Part 3 courses in
Guruji's presence in Bad Antogast.
Two courses take place, here are the dates:
Christmas Part 3 course - from December 22nd to December 28th, 2009
New Years Part 3 course - from December 28th, 2009 to January 3rd, 2010
There have been some changes in connection with these courses.
As far as the fees are concerned, the prices for Christmas Part 3 course remain
the same as they were in the previous years (720 euros in a group room with the
bathroom, 640 euros in a group room with the bathroom on the corridor and 560
euros in a dormitory accommodation) while the prices for the New Years Eve Part
3 course will be 100 euros higher than for Christmas Part 3 course for all the
accommodation categories. We apologize for the delay, the application form will
be available in a few days.
This time the course participants will have a chance to experience not only
inward, but also outward silence - the courses will be conducted in the quite
environment, meaning that Bad Antogast during the time of the courses will be
closed for the visitors and open for the course participants only, the guests
will be welcome for Christmas Eve and New Years Eve evenings only.
In any other time, when there is no course with silence all the guests are
always most welcome to Bad Antogast, for satsangs with Guruji as well and that
is the case next weekend.
There will be two satsangs with Guruji: on Saturday October 24th and on Sunday
October 25th and we warmly invite all of you. There is also a possibility of
staying in Bad Antogast during this time, you can book accommodation in a group
room with the bathroom on the corridor (38 euros per night per person) or in
the dormitory (30 euros per night per person), rooms with the bathroom on
special request (about 50 euros per person). Please let us know in advance.

Know Your Child (KYC) is a two hour interactive workshop for parents (having
1-12 yrs kids)that gives parents a glimpse into the child's mind and enables
them to find the root cause of such behaviour. Ignorance of this knowledge can
be quite frustrating for the parents and often results in the child getting
scolded or beaten, which can be detrimental to growth in the long run. Such
undesirable behavior can introduce inhibitions in the child that he/she may

maintaining the joy in a parent-child relationship.

Torrential rains over last one week have left over 200 people dead and rendered
over 3,00,000 people homeless in the state alone. The floods have affected all
14 districts of state's northern region.
According to official sources, over 26,000 houses have collapsed in North
Karnataka. Most of the eleven districts in the region are inundated, as all the
rivers are flowing above the danger mark. Road and rail transport services have
also been disrupted.
Poojya Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji has been actively monitoring the
situation and had visited some of the worst affected areas. Art of Living is
adopting 60 worst affected villages and will be providing emergency relief in
other areas as well. We are in the process of mobilizing the relief material
and resources for managing this situation.
