Art of Living Productions is happy to release its two latest documentaries
shot in Haiti and Portugal.

The first documentary was shot in Port-au-Prince in October 2012 and takes
us on a tour through the refugee camps people are still living in 3 years
after the earthquake. People shared with us their challenges, their fears,
their anger as well as their hope for the future.

Nouvelle-Vie Haiti - part of IAHV USA - has done an extra-ordinary work
through its full time teacher Uma, Samson, Estavella, Wilner and Leslie,
teaching the trauma-relief course. We met a few of the thousands who have
undergone the course right after the earthquake in January 2010.

The second documentary was shot in a juvenile prison in Lisboa, Portugal in
June 2012 where two YES teachers - Michal Niewęgłowski and Joana Cordeiro -
has been conducted courses for over a year.

'Everyone agrees that juvenile crime should be taken seriously, but often
experts don't know what best should be done to prevent it. A juvenile
offender is a minor between 12 and 16 who practices acts punishable with a
tutelary measure that aims to educate them and reintegrate them into
society. But according to the critics, most approaches fail to understand
why youth are committing crimes and why 43.5% of them recidive. At the end
of their sentence, young criminals are sent back out ready to go back to
their previous activities.

The number of youth in educational centers has increased over 50% the past
four years. Alarming!

This short documentary is a glimpse of the YES course highlighting some of
the processes as well as the benefits.
