Subject: Guruji's Birthday ~ Care for Children gift
Guruji asked us all to help support the wonderful Care for Children program
when visiting recently at the Wayzata Community Church in Minneapolis. We know
this program has been very close to our dear Gurudev's heart and would make a
superb birthday gift in His honor.
If we think locally how to accomplish this and act globally, as one united
family, together we can make a tremendous difference.
Care for Children has been providing quality education, nourishing meals and
health care to children in need in poor rural areas especially in India as well
as in South Africa. This great program has been in place for 26 years, with 75
schools and 6000 children served, with many more on waiting lists.
With this charitable program, every dollar goes so far ~ the cost to sponsor 1
child for a month is just $30. Our individual donations to Care for Children
together can really add up!
Another fun way that allows everyone in the Art of Living to participate easily
is to have a Care for Children gift basket at weekly Satsangs. We do this here
in Fairfield, Iowa, and people contribute as they like. This has made many
gifts possible too.
Whatever the method, together we can greatly help these deserving children and
fulfill a mighty big wish for our dear Guruji at the same time!
With great appreciation for everyone's good efforts.

Subject: The chinna kuttys of Sri Sri Natya in Nashik
Dr. Mona's team of volunteers worked relentlessly day and night.......
generating much curiosity among the people of Nashik.
They put up banners, posters, distributed leaflets, addressed gatherings - to
bring the Indian youth fed on ideas of western modernity - to get a taste of
SRI SRI NATYA - a new program of The Art of Living - of helping people
experience bliss through dance.
Over a hundred and fifty participants experienced deep meditations "as in the
Advance Course". Tears of joy and love and longing flowed as they melted in
Love and experienced the power of Dance.
"Chinna kutty, Neeru, they were all in tears - like little babies" said the
teacher Smt Ganga Thampi when i contacted her over phone at the end of the 4
day course.
Graceful movements of the dance, enlivening music of the bhajans, soulful
rendition of Divine love episodes by the teacher, fun and freedom of the
participants and the Divine Grace of the Master all of this culminated in a
Powerful Experience Sharing session.
Some were vocal, some could express only with a bow of the head, folded hands
and tears in the eyes but each one felt - IT WAS A UNIQUE, AMAZING.... OUT OF
THIS WORLD EXPERIENCE....
If this has stirred something in you and you too want to experience SRI SRI
NATYA call me on 91- 9916035018 or write to srisrinatya@vvmvp.org
