This workshop will consist of some theoretical background on different
branches of Vedas and basics of Vedic chanting with its specific style

understands the meaning of the Mantras together with the correct intonation
for chanting the mantras

prayers, poojas and Vedic Yagnas.
For the Vedic Chanting Series, there is just one track and it is recommended
that the students have some familiarity with Devnagiri/Hindi script and
chanting of Sanskrit mantras The course is limited to 25 students to ensure
that adequate attention can be given to each student.

The name of the school is Sri Sri Gyan Mandir and not SSRVM.Also its comes
under VVMVP..
Art of Living Teachers and Volunteers from all over mumbai are involved
in this project!
Sri Sri Gynan Mandir ,Banali is a project ,that will help in the education
of children from more than 13 neigbouring villages.
The name of this village is derived from the goddess Banashankari whose
temple is at the very beginning of the road to the Banglore Ashram,the
goddess later on move to Banglore from here,The most remarkable thing about
this village is that it is a completely vegetarian village,the muslims here
as well do not eat meat!
Banali is a small village,about 14 hrs drive from my place.I am often
travelling here along with other Art Of Living teachers/volunteers to do my
best for these children..The school now needs to go into its second phase of
construction which will include mainly 6 classrooms,1 community hall.This
will need funds,,

Subject: 150 European Commission staff attended Art of Breathing intro
sessions this week!
I am happy to share with you the wonderful news that 150 staff members of
the European Commission have attended the Art of Breathing intro sessions
this week at the EC.
This has been possible through the dedication of the French team, who has
been teaching Sri Sri Yoga weekly for 2 years at the EC in Brussels - the
reward of patience and perseverance! - and my recent advancements in the
same. All-permeated by Grace of course! The sessions were organised through
the Yoga Club of the EC, which has around 500 members.
All who attended seemed to be positive, while some were explicitly very
positive. The Directors of the Yoga Club asked us to give an Art of
Breathing weekend course for their members, and many of them have registered
to receive more information. We also met a person who wants to introduce our
"Ethics in Management" training (:)) to the Director of the Ethical
Committee at the EC, a geneticist-biologist-pathologist who wants to help
with introducing breathing techniques for cancer patients, other students of
Patanjali Yoga sutra's... So the story is to be continued!
