The much-awaited Navratri will be celebrated at our Bangalore AOL
International Headquarters from 8th to 17th October 2010!

dormitories

• Contribution during puja days will be Rs 200 per day per person
• During Puja days, extra beds might be added by Housing departments if
needed, Kindly be informed & cooperate
• Since accommodations are allotted on first come basis only, Housing
department will be also arranging accommodations outside the Ashram. Transport
will be arranged as well
• Kindly carry the email / registration confirmation along with valid Photo
ID proof along with you as this will be mandatory during Check-in
• Applicants can pay by Demand draft (DD)/ cash to the Apex body. Demand
Draft should be in the favor of "Ved Vignan Maha Vidya Peeth" payable at

• There will be a Sahaj Samadhi meditation program during Navratri.
Contribution will be Rs 1500 extra.

Subject: British 10k Run - give us your support!!
In just under a month's time, over 100 guys and girls will be running (....or
walking) 10k to raise money for The International Association for Human Values
and our projects across the globe. We will be doing the British 10k London Run,
where 1000's of people take part every year to raise money for various
charities.
We are raising money for the following causes:
Trauma Relief for Haiti
After the immediate emergency of the Haitian 2010 Earthquake passes, Haitian
citizens and aid workers will begin suffering the emotional, physiological and
psychological effects of overwhelming stress and trauma. Many months of food
and water insecurity, poor sanitation, and extended displacement from homes and
communities will exacerbate and prolong this stress. It is critical that we
introduce a new disaster relief model that equips the Haitian people both to
address their own psychological challenges, and to regain as much self-
sufficiency and material security as possible.
Care For Children
The Care For Children programme was started a few years ago to build schools
and provide education for children in the rural areas of India. We currently
support over 100 schools across the country, the largest being just outside
Bangalore, with 1000 pupils. The children travel to school every day by school
bus, often a journey of two hours.
Village of Hope in Sri Lanka
The Trustees of a children's home and community centre, called the Village of
Hope (VOH) in Batticaloa, was formally handed over with care and full custody
accorded to Art of Living/Sri Lanka (AOL) , on a long term lease, effective 01
September 2009. The Village comprises residential facilities and play area on a
land of 12 acres. Currently over 25 tamil children are housed in the Village.
More children will be admitted in the coming 3 months.
General IAHV Fund
IAHV UK has a general fund that allows them to allocate the funds to the most
urgent needs as soon as possible
Other Projects:
Individual Runners have decided to raise money for any of the IAHV projects
that they want, such as the Israel/Palestine project, Prison SMART, Iran
project etc.
